Let it be known that redoing the bushings on Toytec Coilovers might as well be death. It's terrible. Tried pressing out the bushings myself and failed using every method I know. Ended up dropping them off at a shop to be pressed out. Another thing is the bushings are hard to find. I ordered 2 from Toytec but I didn't think about the bushing on the top, which turns out are toast too. So now I'm 2 bushings short, my truck is sitting on bumpstops, and I have to drive back to Arizona in a week. Hahaha.

Bought ADS 4" Air Bump Stops and installed my rear extended brake line. Also polished the crap out of paint today. Used a Griots Random Orbital and Chemical guys cutting compound followed by their finishing polish, and last a nice coat of wax. Man does it look good now. I'd take photos but my truck looks retarded without front coilovers.

Edit: Here's a photo before I washed and waxed it. Sitting on bumpstops, absolutely 0 rub.

Never have used CG compound; the Griots is the best bang for the buck out there. No post shots?

I did the supercharger tear down yesterday. I'll get some after shots later today. The orbital works great.

The paint honestly feels amazing.







Alright Final Spring Break Update:

So I finished replacing the upper and lower bushings on the Toytec Coilovers. What a PITA. I still have no idea why I had to replace these damn things after only 20k miles. Certainly don't recommend Toytec coilovers. The bushings were harder to find. Toytec only had 2 in stock so I ended up calling Bilstein and went down to there warehouse which was luckily close to me. Quick work with a press and some grease and I was good to go.

However, while installing the coilovers, I noticed my CV boot on the driver side was severely torn. So this morning I went ahead and swapped my spare CV in. Not too bad of a job. While I was down there with the skid removed, I figured I would go ahead and change the Front Diff fluid. So I did that too.

Sadly I was too busy and sick to even attempt to rebuild the supercharger. So I called up a friend of mine at DynoTech Motorsports (DynoTech Motorsports), and dropped the supercharger and parts off with him. $120 later I had a completely rebuilt supercharger.
Total Investement in Supercharger
$550 Purchase Price
$120 Rebuild Parts
$120 Labor to Rebuild
Total Investment= $790

Toytec charged me $10 a bushing plus $10 in shipping. Bilstein sells them for less than $7 each and will probably ship to you.

Was not a homie hook up deal. He did everything. Needle bearings, rotor bearings, oil, coupler, and the seal. Truthfully yours might be less considering mine was the first he's done.

That's awesome.. A friend of mine had magnuson or whatever rebuild his about 500 miles ago for around $800. When I pulled the supercharger (he's selling his 5vz swapped pickup for a tacoma) it was already leaking oil... Quite a bit of it.

Ya James (Children of Bodom) recommended Magnuson to me, that's who rebuilt his, but the rebuild would be more than I paid for the unit haha. If you ever want your supercharger rebuilt, feel free to ship it to my house and I'll have DynoTech rebuild it and then I'll ship it back to you.
