I'm not sure what TYC part broke but if it was the adjustable (alignment) plastic piece that attaches to the back of the light then you can order that as OEM separately from Camelback for about $30 per side and just swap it out.

I also had issues with the screws coming out of the TYC. I ended up JB Welding the screws into the housing.

If the actual housing which is made of some type of plaster like material broke then what likely happened is too little JB weld was used. Several people have told me about how the housing itself has come apart on the trail. Mine has held up and I think it is because I used a crapton of JB Weld on each of the screw mounts and divided up the area where force is applied. That is my theory for now.

Took the fenders off and cleared some more for the tires. Now I barely barely rub at full bump. Got a couple feet of air under the tires and zero issues. Hoping my rear shocks get rebuilt some time this week, and then it'll be time to really have some fun with this truck.

So these shocks are currently being rebuilt. Planning on mounting them outside the frame rail when they're done. I'm also currently working on redoing my retrofit. But progress is slow seeing as I'm working 6 days a week.

Are those 3rd gen specific? I ask as my tube between the shock and res looks longer then yours.

have you checked to see if they will fit? I went through the trouble of making a couple beefy mounts and my shocks were nowhere close to being able to fit.

I'm waiting for them to come back from the rebuild. The mount clears fine. Just depends on how close I want the shock to be to the frame.

Playing with travel numbers a little, with the Tacoma Shocks I would have 3.5" of up travel and 5.5" of downtravel. 9" of total vertical travel.

As far as the 4Runner goes, those Icon's a couple posts up I had rebuilt and then sold them for a profit. My Icon's that I've been running for nearly the last year (FJ 2.5 Piggybacks), are being rebuilt and revalved currently to wrap up my suspension revamp. Today I used clay, compound, polish, and then wax to make the 4Runner shine again. Then brought it down to the lake and snapped some photos.

Rear Upper Control Arm bushings were shot, so I bought these awesome arms from Toytec. (Ignore my beautiful blue Monroe shocks that I'm rocking until my Icons are done being rebuilt.)

Yes, Superflex springs. I'm thinking of running a different, non progressive, spring in the not too distance future though.

They make a lot of noise. The progressive springs causes lots of coil slap which makes for a very noisy ride.

i hear you have been having issues with your MTRs and balancing... -ill be honest i have not read through all of your posts on the issues or the build, so if this has come up forgive me. im also not gonna insult your intelligence and tell you to try this or hint at suggestions of other issues. i believe you when you say its a tire issue. that being said. have you swapped out the tires for other MTRs. while i have not put a ton of miles on my MTRs they are butter smooth, even after sitting for almost 6months. id take them back to where ever you bought them and tell them you want them to either make them smooth via balancing or replace them with a new set, and if the shop hesitates call GoodYear and talk go through them.
