4Running Daily's Build Thread

Ended up not being that bad. About a grand. It seems to have solved my problems going into gear.

Mine stalled on me 4 times on the way up to school while moving. Also have sound coming from the transmission area whenever I'm moving (sounds speeds up as I speed up). And then like you, it's hard to shift. We will see what the shop says later.

There goes the coilovers...

What a great story keep the truck in the family

Thanks! I plan on it!

Will those be used for front turn signals? ...mounted just under the headlights?
If so, I had planned to do the same thing. I'd love to see some daytime pics of them operating!

I'm going to mount 4 of them inside my corner lights in a row much like David did in his build. Should be pretty sweet!

I will take plenty of photos!

Speaking of which, David and I did this yesterday. David machined this center piece. Basically there is a washer with prongs that slides over it and then a lock goes through the hole. The best part is, the center cap of the wheel hides everything. So you can't even tell there is a lock on it and it doesn't rattle.

Awesome job with the corner lights dude.

Btw I'll be in Sedona 3/31 -4/5 if you want to hit up some trails together. We've got a campsite reserved.

Ran Elvis again today. One of my friends bought a new Tacoma and this was his shakedown run, so I had the honor of being invited along with 2 others.

Then I decided to go for the very optional waterfall at the end. I watched Rockdawg84 do this back in November 2014 and I've wanted to do it ever since. Don't let the pictures fool you, this thing is steep and huge.
