That is weird and very troublesome. I still have a pretty decent amount of space from the cutting section to the door. I have a feeling you could probably do it.

So I'm using a Harbor Freight 4.5" Angle Grinder and the cheapest Harbor Freight MIG welder they make. 16 Gauge steel. I start with the side closest to the door and slowly make pieces that fill in the hole tacing one piece to another as I go along. Once the hole is filled, I do roughly 2 tacs per inch anywhere I can. After that I wire wheel it and go along the welds with Steel Stik Puddy from Home Depot. Super strong and waterproof material. I do that on the inside and outside until I'm content. Then I use silicon on the inside to fill any spots that I'm not content with. Then I cover both sides with Rustoleum roll on bedliner.

Gottcha, well looks are my last concern, I need effective with how hard wheel. I've got a napa 110 flux core/mig but I haven't set up the mig yet, sounds like I need to get on it. Thanks for the tip, should undertake this pretty soon.
 
Standard J-Shift T-cases don't have a 4wd computer. We just have a small relay on the passenger side that engages the ADD.

Multi mode and push button t-cases have a 4wd computer on the driver's side kick panel. I think trucks with stock e-lockers also have a computer there.

I got in to climbing about a year ago. J-Tree was a blast! Although it was 102 which was a little toasty.

Thank you! I actually did some mountain bike upgrades, went from 3x10 to 1x11. I am searching craigslist for a cheap trailer though, that would be very nice haha

I have some gear up for sale on CL here in Portland. Quality 10.5 Mammut ropes, double 9's for ice and some quality static ropes. Also have some Kaukulator's by La Sportiva. (Like the 3rd gen, there's a cult following of these crack boots.) Only go up to size 10. Here's the link. If interested let me know. Very little hardware for sale. I'm keeping all of that. I've been training again. Heading back to the Himalayas in 2018 to climb Ama Dablam, this time instead of me guiding I'm going with the American Alpine Institute out of Bellingham. We'll be climbing a variation of the Southwest Ridge. Be careful on the sharp end.

Rebuilt my power steering pump today.

Parts included the rebuild kit and the banjo double washer.

Started by removing the air box and skids

After putting the truck in gear, I used a 17 mm wrench on the pulley nut and then removed the pulley. Next was the 2 air lines and the return line. Then the banjo connecter which is a 17mm bolt on the outer and a 15/16" on the inner. You'll want to remove the 17mm and then loosen the 15/16". Finally, I removed the 3 14mm bolts holding the pump to car. 1 is long and on top that goes to the block, then the last 2 are short and attach to the tensioning bracket.

That gets you this greasy disaster

Next was removing the reservoir from the pump. 3 12mm bolts, 1 short and 2 long.
First seal from the rebuild kit you'll find is the reservoir o-ring. . No picture of that sadly.

Then the crank shaft seal which can be popped out with a flat head screw driver.

Next will be the main pump gasket after removing the 2 12mm bolts holding the 2 pieces together.

The right side of the picture above, use a flat head to pop out the inner piece.

There is one large o-ring on the piece you pull out.
On the back casing there is another o-ring. In the rebuild kit there are 2 o-rings that are about the same size, however the thickness is different. This seal is the thicker of the 2.

Now moving on to the inner banjo connector, the 15/16" bolt. Here is where the thinner of the 2 o-rings goes.

Now remove this c-clip on the pump. A replacement c-clip is included in the rebuild kit.
