I still don't get why very specific 4th-gen only threads like this, get moved off to generic sub-forums where you have to sift through 2nd, 3rd, and now 5th-gen discussions looking for discussion about 4th-gen. I definitely don't see a lot of valuable threads like this one unless there's a note on the 4th-gen forum pointing to it, and that defeats the point of moving it away to avoid cluttering up the 4th-gen forum.

Nobody ever moved that thread. I originally made it in the maintnance section, then just posted a link for it here.

K. I'm still puzzled by the setup of this site, seems like I miss a lot of valuable threads when they aren't in the 4th-gen section.

Great write-up. I am preparing to change oil tonight and while I was not terribly worried about it this was handy for reference.

One thought:

Maybe add the procedure from the manual for resetting the maintenance light? I don't have my manual handy or I'd post it for you.
