You can run the wires a couple different ways, but the cleanest would be to drill a small hole in the gutter and run your wires down into the headliner (silicone the opening or use a rubber grommet). Otherwise you can run them down the door.
These mounts are completely done by the way, they are being cut and powder coated this week and will be ready to ship by the end of next week. Finally!!! Thank you everyone for your patience. They came out awesome!!
I'll get pics up here and on our website ASAP, and will offer a 10% discount with a "coupon code" which I will also post in this thread as soon as we are ready to take orders. We are building a bunch of sets so once these are all powder coated, all orders will ship out next day.

call me skeptical but I'm not buying 3 self tapping screws mounted in the rain gutter will be able to withstand the shear forces exerted on them in this location, especially when exposed to the wet/corrosive conditions of the gutter.... have you done any shear force calculations of the self-tapping screws at say 80 mph with a 50" light bar... my guess is that the screws would rip out in short order.. or deflect enough to over time cause a gap in the sealant (Assuming silicone used) and thus creating water intrusion and a weak mounting spot due to rounding out the drilled hole...
It's easy to sell products and claim no liability (e.g for off-road use only), but it may be prudent to at least run the numbers before there are a bunch of 40-50" light bars getting ripped off at highway speeds... vehicles can get destroyed and people can get hurt using improper/ unproven mounting methods like this...the bracket is great, the mounting method need rethought. Please don't take this wrong, I'd looooooooove to have a 40 or 50" light bar above my windshield but I also realize some things just aren't meant to be...
I wish you the best and hope you consider the safety of this design.

Our other mounts both use self tapping screws and have had zero issues.
If you peel back the headliner on any 4th gen runner and see the mounting points, the mounts attach to where the body is 3ply thick. If the customer does not want to use self tapping screws, there is plenty of room to use a nut and bolt, which you could obviously use a locking nut if you so choose, for reassurance.
I've been running our other mounts for almost a year and have had no water condensation or signs of water intrusion or corrosion whatsoever.

You also have the option of using rivet nut inserts if you don't like the self tapping screws. As Rob stated though, the roof is very thick in the location the brackets will be mounted l. If you use bolts with locking nuts and washers I don't see why you would ever have any problems.:thumb:

product failure and liability
Since the subject had been brought up. Let's expand on it to a much larger scale.
Recently my mother in laws 2007 Toyota rav4 was in a accident. Light rain, smoothroad, tires at 5 32nd. Not at the wear bar yet but close. She lost control spun out jumped the curb hit a fence and ended up on the curb. Passenger side smashed front and rear with under carriage damage.
She described the accident like this, I heard a pop bang then the car swerved and abs and vcs started beeping and buzzing. Car went right then left then back then up the curb hit the fence and stopped.
Fast forward two weeks later now the truck is on the lift.
Turns out lower driver control arm disconnected causing the wheel to go out of alignment and her losing control.
Consulting with several lawyers. There is nothing to sue fir because no one was hurt. Only thing to sue for is product liability. To try and sue Toyota would be a financial dead end. Best to let the insurance fight that one and go from there.
Moral of my story, "offroad use disclaimer" virtually eliminates your responsibility and since it will be installed by the end user. Liability will be on the installation facility or person. So if I chose to use self tappers to secure it and it flies off and hurts someone. They will go after me, and everyone that had anything to do with it. It will be a long drawn out process that might never pay out. So likely hood of that happening is nil.
Btw since [MENTION=87178]NuclearN8[/MENTION] brought it up, in the state of pa pet motor vehicle rule book. Anything that is not factory installed is technically illegal.
EDIT: just looked it up, that law has been repealed to read.
§ 4306. Use of multiple-beam road lighting equipment.
(a) Approaching an oncoming vehicle.--Whenever the driver of a vehicle
approaches an oncoming vehicle within 500 feet, the driver shall use the low
beam of light.
did find out that off-road lighting must be covered up by opaque cover. fine is $100 each. i'm a rolling target for these armed tax collectors LOL
