Will they work with curved bars?

These ones won't, but I have a friend with a 50" curved. I need to take a measurement and take an angle finder to it. I should be able to just alter these mounts in our design program to work for a curved bar. Doing that this week.

If I was to put a single-row LED bar on there, would it be possible to install the brackets a bit further back? My one hesitation is how it seems to hang over the windshield ... either visually or in actuality. Not knocking it at all, love innovative products like this, just would be personal preference.

You could probably move it back an inch or two and it would be right behind the top windshield seal, but because of how the gutter starts to curve you might need to just take a grinder to the mounting points of the brackets to get it further back. I'd also pull the headliner back and see what's under that area.

when you put it in the gutter rail, did you gave to cut the rubber covering that runs down the whole roof rails, or did you cut it and lift it up then place it back over, or a whole different approach all together. I have my 50" and am waiting on my mounts to ship from slagfactory, but this is the only thing im unsure of for the install. Can't really find a detailed write-up of the install process with the rubber coverings for the rails specifically, if you could let me know, or anyone else that'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks
