Does that reservoir have two pumps in it?
BTW... I've heard that a 5th gen reservoir mounts in that same area, but haven't had a chance to confirm that yet.

no it only has one pump. I never ever use the rear, even on previous vehicles that had rear nozzles so a second pump didn't matter to me.
The GF's 07 FJ cruiser's Reservoir is in the same area, at first I thought about using a FJ reservoir but after some measuring, it was a little too big to fit. The one I found only holds a little less than 2 quarts of fluid but that lasts me way long enough and anything bigger would've been a little more of a pain to mount solid and as clean as I would like..... like I was able to mount this one. I was ecstatic to find this kit.

Here you go... I am still waiting on them to get back to me to get them ordered up. Evidently the guys in Japan are slow to get back to him? I'm close to giving up on it as the stock rear flares look fine... We shall see...

I did see those before, but the links to his build are down and it didn't seem like there was any activity so I blew it off. Would be nice if they are still available. I agree, rear's don't look bad but I think a little wider ones would really set it off. :lookout:

Yes I think those rear flares would really add a nice touch. I'm still waiting for the green light to order them. Supposedly they are available but the folks in Japan are slow to reply... Will order them if and when they're ready!
Just put a down payment on a Borla exhaust too! I figured new paint and suspension and the exhaust looks like crap lol. I was thinking about just changing the muffler and tailpipe with a stainless tip but figured I plan on keeping this thing forever so I might as well do it right!
Here's a pic from this weekend, was able to play a bit in some mild trails this last weekend, unfortunately no action pics as we were alone but took one on the side of the road on the way to the beach. All I can say so far is WOW, suspension is just cushy smooth on terrain that would have us hitting our heads on the ceiling in the FJ (6" Fabtech lift etc ). The kids normally don't like rough terrain because of the bouncing around etc but they really enjoyed themselves in the Runner and so did I! Can't wait to take it in some more severe stuff!

Your build is hella clean! I've been watching too many baja videos lately. Once i'm done with school loans i would really like to mod in this direction. Just a question, i see these types of bumpers on a lot of baja/prerunner trucks, is there a reason these are preferred over AOR, Shrockworks, Demello, etc? I know a main reason is weight, but this is one look i can't seem to grow into haha.

To tell you the truth I am not sure lol. Maybe someone could chime in on that. I would guess for one yes because of the lighter weight and my second guess is that most Dedicated Baja "cars" are tubular frame built and the bumpers are part of the frame build or an extension of the frame? For me it's strictly because the look grew on me and looks most authentic to a Baja style build. My second favorite was the Demello with the center grille guard. If i wasn't fortunate enough to find someone to build my bumper , I might've had a modified Demello bumper on my rig.

Actually we wanted to go to Kaena Pt but I had to help my Mom with something in Waianae so we ended up just driving through Yokohama's .. Got to plow through some short side ruts, that's about it but was good fun! Actually Gonna try and hit up Kaena Pt one weekday when there's not much people out so I can play around in the rut and get some decent speed lol. They're really strict nowadays and the DLNR troopers have been citing and kicking people out. Dying to find somewhere I can jump something, nothing crazy, one foot at a time haha!
