Has anyone seen a 4th gen 4Runner put into service as any type of emergency vehicle? we already saw what it'd look like as a Taxi... but the photshop job that momo did on the red 4runner had me thinking that if he'd of put a lightbar on it, that'd be one really sharp looking fire department vehicle....

4Runners are to popular and just not cost effective to whore out to fleet companies by the 1000's:D

Any official vehicles are usually Explorers, Expeditions etc... I just read an article that said Ford is cutting back on Fleet sales cause it's destroying their image, duh obviously more so the lack of quality, but don't anyone worry cause GM is on track to sell more vehicles then Ford and they will filll the Fleet sales that Ford does not want to.

we're building up the discovery channel 4runners ...

but i guess that's not exactly an emergency vehicle ;)

Lance used his to get to a friend of ours who compound fractured his leg a good distance from the nearest road. The emt's wouldnt drive on private property (epecially off road) to get to him.... Does that count?

Almost forgot about the Army one! Even if it's for a Volunteer FD, EMT, etc, I just thought it'd be interesting to see how they look with the lightbars, hideaways, graphics, etc. If you happen to see a 4th Gen out there being used for something other than a privately owned vehicle, please take a pic and post it...

I couldn't imagine a Toyota as a US military vehicle....

Hell, even my company only buys domestic vehicles, and they have nothing to do with the government!
