4th gen getting acquainted

So I have 2 issues to resolve..............
1 - after a rain last night in 60193, the drivers carpet is wet
assuming door and window closed properly, where to look?
2 - slightly brisk complete stop, foot still on brake pedal=no prob yet
release pedal = thump in rear !?
make me think rear axle "wraps" slightly, brakes hold it "wrapped" until brake is released letting axle return to normal position.
any thoughts?

Probably better for a mod ( [MENTION=66316]1engineer[/MENTION] or [MENTION=165]momo.75[/MENTION] ) to move to the 4th gen area. But right off the bat

-so it could be, That hose is the drain from the A/C system after the condensation process happens
-personally running a body shop it was common also for a roof rack or sun roof drain hole that is plugged

1. I had a problem with wet carpeting in an older Chevy S-10 and it turned out to be a leaking heater core. Don't know if this is a possible problem in a 4th Gen 4R. Could also be a leaking windshield seal.
2. Check the rear area for any loose objects that could be sliding/rolling forward on brake then rapidly going backwards on accel. The classic example of this is a bowling ball in the trunk. Could be your bottle jack, spare tire, loose seat back, etc. You'll probably have to put someone in the rear area to listen and feel while you drive.

Check drain lines. The thump is possibly the driveshaft. Slight play as you come to a stop. Ive had it in all my jeeps and noticed in the 4r too.
