4th gen seats

First question.
Can I install 4 gen front seats on my 3rd. Gen . The only reason I ask is because they have air bag built on the side.
Second question
Would the back seat fit without any mods.
I am getting a good deal from them online .
Does anyone know or done this before.

Back seats are a definite no. Front seats are likely too wide and won't bolt in. The airbag is not an issue, but it won't plug in to anything or ever work.

I picked up some 4th gen seats to try it out, definitely don’t work without a lot of work. At that point you might as well invest in seats from a nicer vehicle.

I bought x5 seats but couldn’t get them to move so gave up on them. Ended up replacing my seat foam with new and replacing the covers with new leather covers. Happy with that.
