I've been looking for the optional front skid plate (silver one) that some 4th gens have. I see them a lot on the limited models but have yet to come across a used one.

Basically the only way youll get one is by buying one for a tundra and build brackets.

Found this thread saying they've been discontinued. There was also a debate there about whether it's just for looks or actually protects anything.

The part number is PT212-89070 and a Google search still brings up some dealer sites. Don't go on a wild goose chase but it might be worth checking a couple of those.

I tried a used parts site but there was no listing in their drop-down menu for skid plates and no other description seemed to fit, at least that I saw.

If there are junkyards in your area, maybe drop by and ask them to let you know if one comes through. Might have to make it worth their while by promising a couple of six-packs or some such if they find you one.

08 SR5 roof rack and bumper

08 SR5 factory roof rack. Took off to replace with Baja rack. Make me an offer.

Also have a navy blue bumper from same vehicle. Small crack from fight with bambi. It was pulled off to be replaced with a plate bumper. Free. Sometime within the next month I'm cutting it up to throw away.

Excellent working condition. I replaced this with a Pioneer unit. 100% functional.Pulled from my personal 2006 sport. Light swirls on the plastic face but nothing major. Plays XM SIRIUS Radio, MP3, CD, AM/FM. This unit also comes with an aftermarket add-on by M. Costa. It allows you to connect your phone via bluetooth to make and receive phone calls through your speakers. It will also allow you to stream audio via bluetooth. The last feature it has is a 3.5mm auxiliary input that will allow you to play audio through it. It also has an input for your ipod but the cable must be purchased separately. The M. Costa is great for retaining a factory look and keeping thieves and prying eyes off your truck.



Not many of these units out there to compare to to set a price so I am going to ask what I would be willing to pay if I were in the market. $125 shipped for everything.

Thanks for the tips. I called a few of the dealerships and even though it brings the part up and looks like you can order the part. It is discontinued and they are unable to submit the order. Guess I'll keep an eye out on Craigslist.

Recently traded in my 03 Limited, and kept a few goodies.

This coin holder has about 167,000 kms on it. Never off-roaded!

Used mainly for stashing the change I would get after going through the Tim Horton's drive-thru for a double-double.

This is the Canadian version of the coin holder - for use with our Canadian quarter, dime and nickel. It should also work for American coins. :canada:
