Primer 4th gen sport hood (scoop)

For sale is a primered 4th gen sport hood. This includes the plastic insert (OEM Toyota) which is crazy expensive if you've ever checked... The hood was installed on my 4runner but never painted. It has some oxidation and surface rust, which cannot be felt when running finger over it. No pitting or cancer. Ready for sanding and painting. Hood will be stored inside until sold. The dark spot in the middle of the hood is dew. It is a uniform color.

The scoop is now functional as the plastic insert has been removed.

$200 picked up from 37617, and I will ship on your dime.

WTB a couple JBL parts. Mainly looking for the rear speaker mounting/covers (cargo area, where mirrors are installed on non-JBL) in tan. If you feel the need to put in the stock speakers, so be it...I can use them as a frame of reference on what size to replace with.

this is measurements i took before and after. the first number is fender to center hub and the second is fender to ground. see link below.

Stock: Front: 18.5 / 33 Rear: 21.5 / 36

After: Front: 22 / 36.5 Rear: 23.5 / 38

Have FJC Moog 81108's for sale and OME 895's.
- Moog 81108s (fronts) have around 15k miles on them. No issues, just wanted to go with OME 886's for the taller spring since I got a front bumper. Asking $60 or OBO.

- OME 895's are practically new in box, with virtually no miles on them. Asking $140 or OBO. Opted to go a different route in the rear.

Lift/suspension for '05 V6 4WD



Looking for something to replace the past-dead suspension in my 4th gen.



Budget is $500 or so. If anyone is getting rid of anything give me a shout!

I've never seen them with a TRD badge before. Was curious to know what specifically would be different on the TRD edition if in fact it is one. Or maybe a previous owner just added the TRD badge.

It’s just a badge. But buy the v8.

As LASurf said, I can verify that it's just a badge. No TRD option ever existed. In 2009 there was a Trail Edition package that added various little things and a rear e-locker, but obviously not that 2005.

When you go to check it out, find out what the history is regarding timing belt service (every 90k miles), check the frame for rust (bottom of the rail especially, they tend to rot from the inside out), and make sure all 4WD modes work (4LO and center diff lock) since the actuators tend to fail (expensive repair).
