It’s just a badge. But buy the v8.

As LASurf said, I can verify that it's just a badge. No TRD option ever existed. In 2009 there was a Trail Edition package that added various little things and a rear e-locker, but obviously not that 2005.

When you go to check it out, find out what the history is regarding timing belt service (every 90k miles), check the frame for rust (bottom of the rail especially, they tend to rot from the inside out), and make sure all 4WD modes work (4LO and center diff lock) since the actuators tend to fail (expensive repair).

Question - Were the 4th Gens offered with a TRD package? I've found an 05 V8 for sale & it has a TRD badge in the front grill, opposite side of the V8 emblem.

I've never seen them with a TRD badge before. Was curious to know what specifically would be different on the TRD edition if in fact it is one. Or maybe a previous owner just added the TRD badge.

Where are you located? Im thinking of selling my 05 4Runner SR5 V8 w/ 107k miles, all maintenance up to date with records, silver/gray leather.

led turn signal bulbs & flasher

I have LEDs for front and rear turn signals (1156, 7440) as well as an 8-pin flasher relay. I was going to replace mine but didn't realize I have the 12-pin flasher relay in my 4runner. I'm looking for $20 shipped. Let me know if you need any more details.

Rough country xreas compatible 3”/2” lift minus the rear springs. Only 6 months old, as I went to 5100 and toytec springs on front and kept the new rough country springs in the rear.
