Hey man, do these arms have the same bushings as the SPCs? I thought they had some kind of proprietary bushing that allowed for more travel or something

They *are* the SPC arms. Every part on them is stamped SPC.

I have the Toytec Aluminum Bump Stop Spacer kit, and absolutely love it. Think it was $69 off Toytec, easy install and definitely worth it.

Get the newer style spc arms that bbo is selling. The older style which rockauto is selling have been prone to crack at the welds in the past. I’m not sure if they are using the newer style balljoint and bushings as well.

WTB XREAS system/parts to replace mine. ('05 Leaking rears)
Anybody have a XREAS take-off to sell? In Florida, will pay to ship. I like the xreas, as I'm mostly on road. Also, any tips or knowledge about what I'll need at a minimum since I've lost fluid out of my rear passenger shock? Can I just replace the shock as long as there is still fluid in the line between the shock and the center damper on the frame? Or do I need to replace the line all the way to the damper, and the shock as one? Or even more to replace? Any help, or further knowledge and understanding of the system would be greatly appreciated.

You can replace the shocks, but when you do so, you have to do the matching shock at the opposite corner of the car (front left, and right rear at same time)
I would strongly suggest swapping out the Xreas with a standard suspension. Any used Xreas you're likely to get isn't likely to be as good as a new non x-reas. Also, to be honest, I switched mine from Xreas to standard, and I think it handles better now (and 99.9% of my driving is city and highway).
A better investment to your 4Runner will be to swap off the Xreas rather than try to patch fix a worn out dated suspension system that is 3-4x the cost of standard shocks/struts/springs.

I second this. Any Xreas you can find used is likely going to be shot. Also, every time you disconnect them, they lose a little fluid. The loss of fluid makes a big difference too. Get a set of Bilstein 5100's and be done with it.

I've got the center sections taken off a working rig at ~80k you're welcome to them but shipping would likely cost you more than a new set of Bilsteins or similar. I did not think to save the shocks when the shop took them off so I don't have those.

Would recommend getting Bilstein 5100s and slightly stiffer springs. The handling will be similar, just not quite as responsive to each situation.
Think of XREAS like your brake lines. If there's any air in the hydraulic system, it's not going to work well. Unlike with brakes, though, there's no way (that I know of) to bleed air out of XREAS. So every time it's opened, those air bubbles that are introduced make things not work like they should.

It should be a complete system for a 08 SE model. I am in MD. let me know if interested. I'll post next week when I actually get the box(s) in hand.
