Get the newer style spc arms that bbo is selling. The older style which rockauto is selling have been prone to crack at the welds in the past. I’m not sure if they are using the newer style balljoint and bushings as well.

ahh, good call. That would make more sense why Rock Auto would be carrying SPC arms. Thank you, hopefully I can save up a little bit before the sale goes away. It's the only thing left I need to finish my lift.

Would recommend getting Bilstein 5100s and slightly stiffer springs. The handling will be similar, just not quite as responsive to each situation.

Think of XREAS like your brake lines. If there's any air in the hydraulic system, it's not going to work well. Unlike with brakes, though, there's no way (that I know of) to bleed air out of XREAS. So every time it's opened, those air bubbles that are introduced make things not work like they should.

I agree the 5100s are much better because they work, I have 5100s with 265 70 17 BFG KO2s and the ride is better on the highway than a new Audi. The roll isn't bad tbh, its a truck and if you just have a mall crawler the 5100s still will impress. XREAS is probably a great system but it wasn't a system that could hold up to the rest of the 4runner's rugged dependability.

but other 4th gens have modified a similar looking skid plate from the tacoma to fit, so i wouldn't say "no" :becky:

I bought this from 4runnegrille.com 06-09 Grille Assembly – MJT 4Runner Grille Fab and had it painting to match. I am selling my truck so I need to pass this on to someone else. Emblem is included. You will need some new hardware as some of it seized and broke coming off and slightly damaged the tabs on the back. That should be an easy fix. Asking $300 plus shipping.
