I know there is a general spotted thread and a 5th gen spotted thread... I was thinking we should have our own! :wave:

I recently started working in Mclean, VA and noticed a good number of lifted 4th gens on 123/Chain Bridge Rd while going home. Didn't take any photos yet because ya know... want to avoid getting into an accident. Anyways, so far I've seen two lifted 4th Gens, one silver and one black, and was wondering if you guys were on the board. I'm sure I'll see them again and will post pics if I can.

I am in agreement with you [MENTION=1347]V8Limited4wd[/MENTION] I see several 4th gens around and wonder if they are on the forum as well. But I never go to general and sort through all of that mess either.

[MENTION=112497]VA4Runner09[/MENTION] has black lifted sport. Not sure about a Silver, [MENTION=85257]LGUMA001[/MENTION] lives around there and has a gold one.

I spotted a lifted 4th gen w/ rear tire carrier yesterday afternoon on So. Virginia street (Reno, Nv.) anyone on here? That thing looked sweet!!:cheers:

PS: Sorry, I was soo concentrated on the armour, I completely forgot what color it was lol
 
Had posted in the General section but probably more fitting here. Ran into Jay and his sweet 4th Gen.

Spotted this one in the Port Jefferson, NY fire department parking lot on the 4th of July. Are you on here?

Thank you. Your truck has a nice clean look. My friend's father is in the fire department. Last name Meehan. I met up with them at the tail end of the cook out they had. I live in Southampton but I was visiting my cousins in Belle Terre which my cousin is the mayor of. I'll probably see you around when I come into town.

No, it's homemade from a stock grill. Little more detailed in my build. I wouldn't say "difficult" but very time consuming, lots of fiberglass, bondo, and sanding because after removing the middle part of the grille you're left with huge gaps on the sides and bottom / center of the grill frame.
Nobody makes them for sale on here because the time invested is so much. There's an aftermarket one but it's like $600, no thanks.
 
OC bay side spotting

Not sure how many will see this because it doesn't look like this thread gets too much action but I was in oc this weekend and tonight while riding Honda Ruckus' I saw an '05-'09 parked along the bay. It was greyish blue, had a MD crab sticker on the rear window, looked to be lifted a little with trd Tacoma 16" wheels. Had some sort of roof rack on it and there were a few people sitting a long the bay in chairs
 
I passed by [MENTION=46025]HokieRunner[/MENTION] on 66 last month, and there are a couple very nicely built 4Runners at a customer site I'm usually at, and a few more I've seen in the area. Mostly hang around Centreville/Chantilly during the week, but I'm all over on weekends - but usually driving my car on weekends. Either vehicle, gimme a wave!

Spotted this at the Lake Stuart trail head Thursday night before heading into the Enchantments for the weekend. Not far behind in the pic there was also a black 4th gen. Anybody's on here?

Would you happen to work in Tyson's corner? I remember seeing an Aston on my way home from work but not sure it was yours. Sweet ride!
