When I was researching the Tacoma TRD swap I found this:
"V8 springs are 345mm long vs the V6's 340mm. Both spings use the same spring rate, 580lb/in."
A few different sites quoted different weight differences for the engines, but seemed to be around 200lbs, so the V8 springs have to make up for it somehow.
