Greetings to all!
I am from Torrance in LA County, CA, and I'm really happy and excited to be part of this forum. It's been overdue, I should have joined this community right from the onset when I bought my 4Runner way back in 2003.
I have a 4th Generation 4Runner - a metallic grey 2004 V6 2WD Limited with a 3rd row seat. Named Penduko, I bought my truck in October 2003 at Manhattan Beach Toyota here in South Bay. It took me to different places and enjoyed the driving experience, both for work and leisure.
We need to part ways though. It was time to give it to my daughter who just passed her driving test and got her license. But I will still be her guardian and would drive Penduko from time to time. My truck has a mileage of 105,000+ at present, and have survived a few mishaps, if I may call it. Depending on my budget, I am eyeing an upgrade to 5th Generation, 4WD this time. My wife wants a Limited trim, I want a Sports Premium trim - I foresee a lot of negotiations & convincing coming.
Meantime, I will enjoy the drive and continue learning from this community.
Thank you.
