We had a dusting of snows in the mountains around San Diego, so we headed up to check it out.
Can't wait to get to Mammoth for NYE for some real snow!

How is the light at across the top of windshield? Any whistling? I've been planning on putting one in the grill in bumper but been debating on doing the windshield one.

I wouldn't consider it to be a whistling sound, but there is a more noticeable amount of wind noise when driving
More so on the highway though.
But if you have your music up fairly loud like I do, you don't notice it much.

Are those Rigid D2s with yellow covers? How'd ya mount em?

I just bought a used set of replicas (they were $15 shipped for 4 and work great/give out tons of light...why the hell not lol) on eBay and have been making up a wiring harness for em. I wanna mount em in the front grille like that.

I know the idea of the raised wipers is to prevent them from getting frozen down, but wouldn't leaving them like that unnecessarily over-stress or damage the spring?

Under what weight? Not much can build up on the small surface that is flat?
