4th getting rid of the ticking sound

anyone had any luck with either getting rid of the standard 4.0 tick or droning it out with something else?

Try a Higher Octane

Try a tank of 91 octane.. If you use something low like 87 , you will definitely have more ticking. I noticed a huge difference in how mine idled using 91... BUT I still use the 87 almost 100% of the time. Who wants to pay $4.00+ at the pump?
