I am not one to make a political statement, and don't really think this is one, but just wanted to openly say thanks to any of you guys that serve in any branch of our military forces. I have a couple of friends that are over in the middle east right now and say it enough how much I appreciate what you and they are going through just to give a true meaning to Independence Day.

I also want to thank all the other members that help support our troops by doing whatever. A couple of weeks ago I was in a restaurant and saw two National Guard guys eating. I went over to them shooks their hands and said thanks. After doing this, I paid for their meal on the way out. Of course I didn't tell them I was doing it, but just to go thank them and see the look of appreciation on their faces was worth a million dollars. If you ever get the chance, just tell one of our service men, police officers or fire fighters.......Thanks. It will really make both of you feel good.

There is no thanks needed. It was a incredibly small gesture considering what you guys do for everybody else. I think it should be the standard that all servicemen, fire and police are treated like this at all times. Not that you guys don't already bend over backwards to look over us, but keeping you all happy and giving you the feeling of appreciation would just help your moral. Thanks to you!
