I've been scouring the web for a while now and have yet to find someone that has a similar symptoms as my 'Runner. Whenever I'm in 4WD driving in normal conditions, when I'm going from a complete stop to start driving (i.e. stop light or other traffic device) my ABS starts kicking in. The engine limiter kicks in, I hear the ABS clicking and the light flashing. This happens in every condition: dry and wet pavement. I've tested this once by locking the diff to deactivate the trac/ abs system and the problem never occurred. I'm wondering if this is an issue with the ABS sensors or is there something else that I should look further into.
The 4Runner is an '02 Sport Edition.
