4wd system swap

Hello, I recently flopped my 2000 4runner on it's side and ended up buying another 98. Unfortunately the head was bad and now I'm doing the motor and tranny swap seeing as it had lower miles anyways I might as well do both.

However, we aren't sure if we'll have any issues due to the fact of the transfer case and 4wd system being different.

I was curious if it was worth just swapping the whole driveline, front and rear ends along with the transfer case and such. Also, has anyone done this and if you have how much of a pain in the ass is the wiring.

My 2000 also came with the rear locker and I believe it is geared lower as well.

Has anyone done anything close to this? My main concern is the push button 4wd system.

Well I suppose if it's possible to do the 2wd to 4wd this is basically the same without fabrication. I think we'll go for it and see how it turns out.
