My 4 wheel lo light keeps flashing. Took it to the dealer and the said they can not find anything. Kept doing it. I would pull over, shut it down and restart and it would go away. Just tried putting it into 4wheel hi for the snow and it would not engage and the 4 lo was flashing constantly. Any ideas?:noidea:

I suggest reading the owners manual, the section that tells you how to engage 4wd and 4Lo.

This. The dealer should never have let you leave without solving it.
Here's the basics.
This lever is what engages 4Lo. The shaft protruding moves to one of 4 positions being 2hi, 4hi, n and 4L.
If it's an SR5 the actuator looks something like this:
It moves a pair of shift forks that you can see here - this is what does the actual changing of gears inside:
Pretty simple stuff mechanically. It seems really likely that the sensor that recognizes the position of the gears is not identifying properly the location of the shifting. This could however be a case of the 4lo gear shifter not fully resetting back to the hi position. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know whether the sensor is for this, so it could be impossible for this to happen. I don't know for sure. If that's the case, then it's likely the actuator is causing the error.
Either way - it should be easy enough for a dealer to troubleshoot and fix.

To go from 2hi to 4hi, you need to be driving less than 50 mph. It might takes a couple seconds for the light to stop flashing. This means it is in 4hi. Once in 4hi, you need to stop, put the transmission in neutral, keep your foot on the brake, and shift into 4lo. If the light keeps blinking, it is not engaging correctly. If you reverse these steps and go back to 2hi, and the light keeps blinking, try driving straight ahead with no wheel spin, or reverse. The lights should go out.
How long have you owned this 2010? How often have you put it in 4hi or 4lo? It could be as simple as one of the actuators being "frozen" from not being used. If this is the case, you need to determine which one is sticking, and try smacking it with a hammer. Sometimes it will un stick it. If not, go back to your dealer and go on the test ride with them to replicate the issue with the technician in the vehicle with you.

[MENTION=52064]Hawkeye[/MENTION] This has just recently happened to me as well. I threw it up on the lift, engaged 4H and the front drive shaft does spin. It isn't the actuator that is the problem. There is another "switch" in there that needs to be replaced($56 part). We were able to test this with some wire tool my tech had. This may be the problem with yours.

Really odd that you would be getting a flashing light in 2h. Since its a 2010 you have a manual t-case with no actuator beside the ADD.... Sounds like a really bad dealer, BTW...
For whatever reason.. there has been a rash of the 3 different T-Case position sensors going bad recently. There are 3 different ones on the top of the t-case 4wd, N, and 4Lo. I would test those.. Maybe the 4Lo one is stuck closed... Should be open while in 2wd....

You're saying that the vehicle is NOT shifting into and out of 4WD modes correctly (i.e. 4WD is not actually engaged and the front axle is no being driven), as well as when you are in 2WD the vehicle flashes the "4Lo" lamp ONLY and it is NOT engaged in 4W when following the below procedures:
