How big of a job is it to replace the front diff 4x4 selanoid (sorry if i spelled that wrong or named it wrong) on a 94? My 4x4 light blinks 3 times and I guess 3 times means its not engaging. If thats the case than is it easy to where a six pack and greasy hands later im done or im gonna drop the "F" bomb 200 times with bloody hands to do it?:wtf:

If you are talking about the actuator that locks the front axle in the ADD 4wd system, it's located beside the diff, not in it, so you don't need to remove the diff.
It also helps to give us details, like what year, engine, trans.

Ah gotcha. Its a 94 V6 automatic and yes thats sounds like the part:pizza:

The actuator is vacuum driven, so most likely its not that, but the parts that send the vacuum to it.

But to get to your actuator, remove your skid plate and its on the right of the differiental on the axle tube. Should be 4 bolts and 2 vacuum lines to remove it.

:target:so if it is a vacuum problem what should I look for?
