Went out today from Reno up to Virginia City. It was good to get the 4Runner out and wheel it for more that half an hour. It's a bit rough riding, needs some front wheel spacers because my tires hit the springs and new shocks but here are a couple pictures from the drive and a this awesome place that's set to be tore down this winter called American Flats, it's a great place for photos and there is some awesome graffiti work out there. I understand the reasoning for tearing it down but it sucks to see it go.
No updates but everybody loves pictures so here we go. I picked up a new IPhone today so I finally have a decent camera with me at all times without lugging my Nikon dslr around with me. Decided to take the dogs running around and get a little off-roading in while I was at it.

i loooove the 5.0! theyre great engines! any idea what your father did regarding engine mounts and the t5 adapter? i would love to do this to my 94
The motor mounts are from northwest off-road and the adapter was made by advanced adapters but I don't think it's made anymore, might have to call them and ask about it. I know one is still made to adapt the 302 to Toyota transmission.

Anything new here? I've been tossing a 5.0HO vs. TPI 350 swap in my head and I'm leaning towards the 5.0. I had a Mustang 5.0 and loved the power it had for being stock. I really wish they still made that adapter though, I'd feel much better with a T-5 behind it than a Toyota trans. I'll have to keep my eyes out for one. Any part numbers on yours that you know of?
Yeah there are a few more recent updates, I don't always post on here as it's not super active compared to yotatech. Regardless recently I installed some TG 3" HD springs I got of a local forum and some 6" shackles we cut out at Relentless Fabrication.

I also picked up some 14" Fox remote resi's for the front.
Hopefully the springs and shocks will help out with the stuff ride.

Yeah I have a pickup with a 22r and driving it after the 4Runner leaves a lot to be desired. Then I drive my 15 Tundra and it's like a rocket compared to either one of them haha.

Yeah I'm hoping to find a 3.4 or a 4.7 I can put in without gutting it too bad. I need the power (Because everyone comes to me for help). I really don't think the 3.0 can do highway speeds hauling a trailer weighed down with 400 pounds of stuff, or bikes and such. Especially since I'm joining the Army so it needs to do that, and be able to keep it up for 18+ hours lol.
