Has anyone ever changed their 12 x 1.5mm front hub wheel studds to something larger?
I’m in the process of buying a 9” rearend with full floater hubs and they have 5/8th studs in them and want front and rear to match.
Is it possible?

What bolt pattern? If it's a 5x5 bolt pattern there are wheel spacer adapters you can buy but I wouldn't get anywhere near one of those.
You should talk to Brian at Front Range Offroad, he has a wealth of knowledge about these things and should be able to point you in the right direction.

3rd gen 4runners are 6 x 5.5 I am not interested in wheel spacers that’s for sure

Why do you need this?
I think he was asking if 5 lug because it’s a Ford 9”. How easy is it to convert one to 6x5.5?
I don't think I've seen anyone do it, but if you just want the studs to match, you could probably pull the hubs, and get a machine shop to drill the stud holes (oh that sounds dirty!) out to the right size for 5/8ths, then put some new studs in.
5/8ths is a huge stud. 2mm bigger than a Silverado 3500. Why do you need this? Are you into extreme wheeling? No American full sized 1 ton dump trucks use wheel studs that big.
modify the rear to match?
That is also a possibility I may look into cause I would then not have to drill out my wheels for 5/8. Only thing is I dunno how easy it would be to find a 12mm with the knurled section the same size and the 5/8 studs.
Just another issue in the world of building a toy

if they're 5 on 5.5 I'd think you could re-drill the pattern, clocked, no?
- it's a thought.
