5100/FJ Springs FJ Wheels Cooper Tires Done

Looks great. I got those same tires and size before taking our trip to Colorado. They worked great and glad I got them. Total of 2700 miles and very solid tires. I installed basically the same set up on the suspension. I was very happy as most seem to be with this installation.

Any major Snow time and how did they handle the powder? Ya I really like the tires as well and lookin forward to the White Stuff in Northern Az.

Got the Cooper's in the Powder.

Finally got up to Flag and played in the Snow. Coopers performed great in the Snow. Very good tire and glad I picked the ATP'S. No issues at all. Going back soon to play some more.

Nice looking Truck! I picked up some FJ coils a while back and now I am in the market for the 5100's. Do you have any lift in the back or are you running stock? I have spacer in the rear that I want to keep and just run the 5100 up front and remove my front spacer ( daystar budget boost). I'm just not sure on what setting to put the front shocks at so I'm level still. Any recommendations?

No Rear spacer. I have just the FJ Springs and 5100's all around with the front set at 1.75. I thought I would be Nose high a little but it settled really nice. The ride over the Stock X reas is night and day way better. I looked at alot of rigs at .85 and 1.75 before choosing 1.75 up front and glad I did. I love the look and stance. Thanks bro you too ! Took some time like you looking at these tires , and really am having good luck so far . Was a little worried that the spare wasn't gonna fit but it did whew , was not looking forward to putting in on the roofrack . Anyway as the Mon said me belly full

Looking at doing this same setup in the future. Just getting parts when I can. Came across some FJ springs with 2400 miles on them. Is $90 dollars a fair price for all four. These are off of a Trail tuned FJ. Is there any difference in the springs or is that just the shocks?

That's a fair price IMO. To my knowledge, all 4x4 FJ coils are the same, regardless of the trim model they came off of.

Buy them. And just to add that without the generous support and help of so many here my Rig would NOT be what it is today. Starting with a link to factory LED Tails for a great price, and it took off from there. I NEVER would have put my headlights in my oven. The FJ spring 5100 combo rides great and the '12 FJ Wheels look Sweet. The debate between .85 and 1.75 was solved by looking at a ton of Rigs set at both. Man am I glad I went 1.75. Looks so much different now than it did a year ago. Thanks to all for the help. Ark thanks for always leading me in the right direction and help answer all my questions. This vehicle is the smoothest V8 I have ever drivin. Looks like Flag is gona get some more Snow here soon. Yep...

So crazy, I have never seen this post (pretty much only use the search function on this site), and I am going with pretty much the same setup.

'04 V8 Sport
I just installed the 5100s highest setting and 1.5" Daystar spacers in back with FJ springs all around. Should be 3/2 lift? I also have the same FJ wheels waiting for 275/70/17 Cooper AT3s coming in next week.

I can't wait to get the new wheels on and get the alignment done.
The mountain snow is waiting!!!

Truck looks great. Was gonna ask was the X-REAS difficult to eliminate? I wanted the same FJ/5100 combo you have but didnt wanna get started til I knew more about taking out the X-REAS first. Any advice and pointers I would really appreciate. Have an 04 Sport V8 4WD..:wave:

Once the shocks were removed the X Reas lines took like 2 minutes to rip out. A couple of bolts and the lines were gone. The X Reas WILL leak at some point and NOT worth replacing

Appreciate it. So once I disconnect I can just completely eliminate it all and not worry about any warning lights right? thanks for replying. Im gonna be ordering my 5100s tomorrow. Any links to where you got yours?

No Lights or Buzzers just a much better ride. I got mine from Wheelers. They didn't have they fronts in stock so all of it came from Bilstein directly and had them in a couple of days. Felt like a kid on X mas day when they came in too.
