5100 Front Boot

So I installed my 5100's along with Moog FJ springs a little while back now. I noticed yesterday that the front shock boot/dust cover had fallen down on the driver's side. The passenger side is still in the correct location. I noticed the chrome shock shaft showing through the spring as I was walking up to the car. I assume that I can get a new boot one from Bilstein. Right now its basically flopping around inside the spring. I have never heard of this before and not sure how it happened. Has any seen this before?

I would assume you could. I'm looking for a set right now for a friend.

Can you not just move it back up onto the shock body and replace the zip tie on it? Or put one on if there wasn't one put on before...

There is no zip tie to on the front. It slides onto the shaft from the top. I really unsure of how it even happened. I think I may have to take apart the strut to replace it.

With the popularity of this upgrade, I can't believe I've never seen this before.
