5SPD_MAN_RUNNIN Build Thread

This is my first 4Runner, quite possibly my first actual Toyota I've ever owned (out of the 32 other cars I've owned) in my short life. I Usually buy a car keep it for a one to three month, and sell it. For some reason when I bought this I was missing having a truck, off roading, camping...doing man stuff.
So I have been overly excited to start a build thread for this truck, I just hadn't started building the truck yet.
I still haven't done a whole lot, but I have a start, and I know where I want to go with it. So I think I can at least get started and I will ad more as I ad to her
(as budget permits).

So this is her when I brought her home. First thing I did was I had to fix the A/C, Summer in Cali does not always agree with me and I want to stay cool. The A/C condenser had a hole in it the size of my fist. I tracked one down that wasn't 100 to a guy on CL that was parting one out. 20 bucks if I take it out. I also grabs a spare set of springs all around and shocks for the front for 30 bucks, couldn't pass up the deal, and a Flowmaster 40 series for another 20 bucks and a tall can.
I ended up having to come back out to him the next day and buy another ac line to replace one of mine that had a huge hole in it at the small cost of 2.99 for another tall can +my gas to drive out there.

I then Smoked out my tail lights with the Tail light Tint you buy on eBay. Spent almost an hour taping the light (after I took it off) just to spend five minutes painting. Lol

A week later I tinted the windows The back windows had factory tint in the glass, but I went over it all with 5% again. Installed the Flowmasted and exhaust tip. Replaced a bad fuse keeping my radio from working (fun finding the security code on a Sunday when you can't go to the dealer)

My tires were getting a little bald, and personally I am not a three spoke person. It was time for a upgrade.
I put a lift on it, unfortunately the place I wen't only put a 2.5'' lift, when I asked for a 3. So I have to take it back and have them change that.
I put 17'' Fuel Rims Wrapped in 285/70/17 Gladiator M/T

I'll post more pictures after the weekend, I am doing a run on Saturday with some people on here.
I am going to try and get a CB radio installed today after work, but we will see how that goes.

Took her to the dirt for the first time with some pretty cool guys from here.
They took some cool pics for me. I even got a video and put it on youtube, not the best quality or most exciting, but not the less. It's there. Lol

Looks like I missed a good run. I went the weekend before and ran Holcomb and Gold mountain. I think you are right down the street from me.
