5th Gen (2014+): Amp Research Power Step & Bushwacker Fender Flare Compatibility

I have a 2014 TEP with the Amp Research Power Step Running Boards installed and I'm interested in getting the Bushwacker Pocket Style Fender Flares; however, I'm concerned that the flares will compete for real estate where the running boards sit when they're in the upright position. As you can see from the pics below, the running boards hug the body cladding fairly close to the stock fenders when collapsed. I tried calling both Amp Research and Bushwacker to pose this question to them, but neither company could confidently claim that they were 100% compatible with one another without some type of potential mod being made to the flares. I live in Austin and tried calling a few of the Bushwacker retailers to see if they had them in stock for a a 2014 T4R, and none of them had it on hand and they weren't willing to put in a special order, merely for a potential customer to check fitment with the amp power steps.

Does anyone have the bushwacker fender flares installed on a 2014+ where they could post pics similar to that of my pics, so that I could make a more informed decision on their compatibility? Or better yet, does anyone have this setup currently installed?

Too dark now but I'll try to get you a couple tomorrow. But I did have to trim the front Bushwacker to clear the square tube of my Shrockworks Step Sliders. Bad picture for reference. I'll try to get better tomorrow.

Sorry, It was raining today when I had time to go get them. I'll try again tomorrow. Straights shots from each quarter side. For now here's a side shot teaser if you can zoom it in enough. The front flare comes back right to the door seam. I'll try to get a measurement for the rear from the opening.

If the AMP steps are still being manufactured the same way they were when I was installing them back in 2010, the boards are mounted on the powered arms through T-slots which allows for some adjustability front to rear. The ends of them are also capped so you can remove the caps and cut the boards down and then reinstall the caps. They are essentially a fancy piece of extruded aluminum.

Thanks for following hat into - that's really helpful to know. Sounds like I can mid the length and positioning of the running boards to accommodate the fender flares, if necessary.

I still welcome any other pics of the fender flares, to see if they'll fit wo mods. Thx

As promised. The front of the rear flare comes under the door about 6" forward of the fender lip.
