5th gen aftermarket exhaust?

I see the one video on yuotube of a 5th gen with the borla exhaust. Is there any out there of inside, under throttle?

I was hesitant to put exhaust on a 6 cylinder, but I figured a 4.0 had enough displacement to sneak by. I was right, it's not ricey sounding and actually has a nice growl when you get on it. More importantly it's not real loud, I didn't get it for sound I wanted to sneak closer to the 300hp line. Borla claims a 5-15% increase and I would say for this application it falls in the middle. No regrets and happy I went with a pre engineered full cat back from people that have been doing it for a long time. Putting a performance air filter on is a must do in letting the 4.0 breath better on both ends.

If/When you get a chance, could you measure the canister length/width/height? I had a borla canister put in, and honestly, I think it was too small for the application. Sounded like garbage and finally took it off.

Still want a little bit of a growl, but not a misfiring chainsaw like I had going.

From what I read Borla makes Trd cat back systems.

You guys are looking for flowmaster super 70ii ! Same canister size as oem & very healthy for a V6 . Don't get me wrong borla makes nice stuff but better on V8 . Very happy with mine & have on both 4r !

^^^x2, love mine. Hardest part of install was unbolting factory tail pipe, those two bolts are real buggers to get out. Ended up using a cut-off wheel to cut nuts off. Other than that, install went really easy, did it the driveway with a floor jack and two jack stands.

Sounds ok but nothing like my 4th gen v8 with a 40 series flowmaster

Hey everyone,
I used to have a wicked flow muffler on my Tacoma, it was great.
Do any of you know of anyone with them on their 4Runner?
