UPDATE Icon Stage 1 Kit for sale

Icons have been on vehicle for less than a year. Fronts were rebuilt due to one having a faulty seal. Icon fixed under warranty. Have documentation. The kit has only seen the trail twice unfortunately for me and the rest is highway. Roughly 15k on the setup and was redone around 12k. The kit would have sold sooner however, I was waiting for my new parts and jumped the gun. As of today, the kit has been removed and is readily available. I simply upgraded with Icon and there is nothing wrong with the old setup.

Why I'm here!

My wife asks " Why are you always on that website"? Not to sound like a sentimental wuss, but the last three pages on this sticky answers that question perfectly. 2 pages ago [MENTION=66316]1engineer[/MENTION] had to ban 2 chuckleheads that neither appreciated nor deserved to be a part of this community. But more importantly, the previous 2 pages shows several members bending over backwards to help another member get something as simple as a front tag bracket. I don't know anyone of one personally but I feel very lucky to have stumbled onto the website. Thanks to anyone that's helped me with ALL of my newbie questions.

search car-parts.com website. its a inventory website of junk yards. i use to live in DFW and there are tons of them. mainly south Ft worth, etc.
when searching - input parameters like 3rd row, dash, door, etc. and find phone numbers of locations that have 4runners within your year model 5th gen.

in other words, you can search only "3rd row seat" and find no hits, but you can search "dash" and find 5 hits of 5 different junk yards that say they have a dash.

next call them and you will find out if one of those cars has the 3rd row.

ie, they didnt inventory it in the system......but its there.

that's just search query tricks ive found to work.

Rear Mud Guards with rear Fender Liner $50:

Anyone know, if these "liners" would work on a 2016 TRD Pro to fill the hole left behind, when removing the factory mud-flaps? The dealership had no clue, when I was about to order them and try it. Sadly, all "flaps" and "liners" are special order, non-returnable items.

Thoughts? Seems like the holes could line up to the factory mounting points. If so, this is the part # many of us have been looking for to fill the hole!

I just lined up the Limited rear fender liner up against the SR5/TRL/TRD bumper and unfortunately the lower (2) holes on the vertical edge of the fender liner will not line up to the bumper. The SR5/TRL/TRD bumper has a tapered inward curve while the Limited is more vertical which is mimic'd by the fender liner. The 2 lower vertical edge holes are exposed.

The best solution is still to trim the SR5/TRL/TRD mud flaps.

Thanks a million for doing this! I was always curious, and now know officially it won't work. I just need to man up, break out the Dremel and cut my flaps haha. So hard to cut a functional item, however.

Do what I did, just get rid of the lower half. Still functional but looks much better

No problem, glad to help! I also thought this could have been a solution.

The mud guards aren't too expensive if you have post trimming regret at around $26/ea via toyotaparts.mcgeorgetoyota.com. Hopefully you can have your local dealership price match to avoid shipping.

Speaking of which I will need to reduce my price on my used Limited's mud flaps if you can get new ones for $50 for the pair :doh:
