That would be a solid find, and their prices weren't too bad when I was looking for new. In the end I chose to pay a little more somewhere else just so I didn't have to deal with the sales people at Toyota of Portland. One of the worst shopping experiences I have ever had.

+1 on the worst shopping experience at Toyota of Portland. I purchased a new Prius from them and a couple weeks later I was walking up to my car and the sun was hitting it and I noticed on the passenger side door had more metallic flake than the rest of the car. I thought that was odd and called them about it. They said to bring it in to take a look at it. Brought it in and I said the door was for sure painted. The inside of the door had some over spray and wasn't as smooth as the other doors. They said they would look into it and call Toyota about it. Waited a week and nothing, so I called up the service department asking who does their body work. I called the body shop up and asked if they could see if body work was done if I give them the VIN. Lo and behold it was. I was furious at this point. They knew it was painted and sold it to me as new and didn't disclose this. They were dragging their feet after I noticed it and didn't come clean. At the end they ended up buying it back and made up a lame excuse that it was damaged in their lot and forgot about it. Don't buy from Toyota of Portland!

UGH! I have been there twice just because they are closest to my house. Each time I have been there I was paired up with someone who was in their first week and I knew more about the 4Runner than they did.

I am not looking for wizard like knowledge of the vehicle. I have already done my research. I just want to touch a Off Road Premium and drive one and allow the wife to get a closer look. That is the hardest thing to do at this point pre-sale.

I am using DealerRater.com to get access to the internet sales managers and hopefully build a good relationship over email prior to purchasing.

In my neck of the woods about 36K gets you a trail. I paid 33,900 out the door tax, title, tags, everything for my brand new 2016 SR5 Now I know different areas of the country have much higher prices than others which is a little confusing since it didn't cost anything more for Toyota to build that truck than it did mine.
 
It's bothersome that the same truck in 2 different states can sell for so much more or less. Makes no sense at all to me. I see used trucks in Cali selling for more than I paid for mine brand new. Why?
 
I’ve noticed that too, not sure why. Either way, anyone reading this, I’m kinda open to offers so just ask if interested :biggrin2:

Post them on FB Marketplace. You'll get hits like, all the time. A ridiculous amount of low ball offers.

Just wait until someone doesn't want to be a jackass. I sold mine with shot Dunlops, forgot about the lugnuts, and included the brand new spare for $200.

Some shit heads will offer as low as $120 when I posted for $200. Just FYI.
