Okay, I'm not going to read through all 12 pages of this thread (sorry), but I agree - I do see the same questions asked over and over, and not enough searching for answers before asking questions.

While it's easy to blame the noobs for this, in truth many of them simply don't know better. What I think would really help is some more organization in this forum. I mean, it's just a long list of random topics, prioritized only by chronology. There aren't many stickies. There are no subcategories. other forums I'm a part of break things down into much more manageable sections, and make it easy to find what you're looking for before you feel the need to resort to asking.

But still, there is a search bar that people should be trying first, lol.

I would say there are minute differences between the 2010-2013. So not a huge reason to separate them. Although I do see a reason to have a sticky with model differences for each year. 1engineer has a great write-up on the 2015 model year differences.

One thing I've noticed about this forum is the clique and it's minions all enjoy bullying the newbies so I have no problems firing back at them. Makes them all butt hurt and that makes me smile

For those complaining about the search function: Google it guys. It will bring you back here to a good thread.

I've been out of town and I'm not reading 12 pages, but I'll second this comment from the first page. It doesn't matter how bad the in-forum search function is; Google's search ability is excellent, and it indexes pages here. As well as all other 4Runner, Toyota, and offroading forums.

Just type in a one-sentence question into Google's search field exactly like you'd type it here in a new thread. If you want to limit your results to here then add "www.toyota-4runner.org" to the search text.
