My wife and I donate a few $k worth of toys,books, and games to the pediatric oncology/hematology unit of Miller Children's Hospital in Long Beach. It's especially hard on young kids who have to spend the holidays hooked up to machines in a hospital when they should be having the best times of their lives. We also adopt a family at the hospital. Our kids are young so hopefully this will teach them about giving.
