5th Gen New Colors When?

I have been ready to plunk down the cash for a 5th Gen Trail Edition since the day I first saw one EXCEPT for the exterior colors offered and the black interior fabric. Still waiting.

When will Toyota offer some new colors? Any hope the Trail will get something besides black seats (which here in NM and AZ seems awful)? Any info out there?:fro:

I had reservations as well about the black interior, but it never really got that hot during the summer (I live in the south east and it gets hot as well). I have tinted the windows and the windshield as well and that makes a huge difference in the interior temp during the spring/summer/early fall.

I agree, a dark green would be nice, as would a Super White ( a real white).

Gray seats or tan seats would be nice.

In Canada, Toyota actually went the other way and started offering LESS choice on colour. I assume it was a cost issue, but doesn't make a lot of sense considering the vast array of choice offered by competitors.

Up here, you can't have a BP LE with black interior, only beige. And every other colour LE only comes with black interior. Also can't get a Salsa Red Limited. You'd think Toyota was being run by Henry Ford!

Its a shame, We want to get BP with black leather interior
But now we have to "settle" for Silver and black :redbrick:

I just spoke to the president of the company. He'd said he's ready to make you a purple one with pink interior when you are ready to mail him your man card.

And for that lack of choice we get hosed to the tune of at least 4k more on both msrp and dealer cost with the dollar at parity - and no it's not import taxes because it's the same across the range including the NA built vehicles that pick up no import duties because of NAFTA.
