It's a mod worthy of the word "mod." I don't need nor want it (my mirrors could be sticking out 3 ft and I still wouldn't hit anything where I live) but I could see where it could be important to the city folks.

With some of the trails we run in socal this is super useful. By useful I mean convenient, since we wouldn't need our spotter to put in the passenger mirror when we are near the dirt wall.
Very impressed, is there anything you can't do?!

I live in a city with the worst traffic in the country, and I don't NEED it, and it's just one more thing to break, but my god...the effort and ingenuity that went into this...it's fantastic.

I would have normally agreed but now the 4R is my only vehicle that doesn’t have it and I must admit I use the folding mirror all of the time on the others, especially the F250.

Mod to the mod suggestion: Make it so it folds / unfolds automatically when you lock / unlock the doors. My car does this and it’s pretty cool.

These would be great for trail driving. Can't tell you how many times I have had to put the 4R in park and shimmy over to the passenger side to pull the mirror in before going through a brush area. Well freaking done, sir!

I tried that with an EBay auto control box. This is an excerpt from the instructions:

"The small flat screwdriver Tiger knocked chest from the front of the plug". Lmao- that's actually what it says.

It didn't work- a different controller would though!

What would you say total cost is for this project is? As a person that has tight 2 car garage. I ripped off my passager side mirror 4 months after buying my 16' I want this feature bad.

I think the switch is like $70 and the mirrors are off eBay so best guess on those. Maybe Ken can share- he told me he didn't keep track.
