5th Gen Spotted Thread

Saw a MGM 5th gen, lifted with black wheels headed northbound on Steele Creek Rd (160) last night in Charlotte around 6:15. You turned right onto Shopton but I couldn't catch up.
 
Yeah, I really like how it has minimal impact to rear visibility. I guess the trade-off is poorer departure angle than other bumpers.

The other trade off is that it sticks out really, really far. That's of concern if you find yourself needing to parallel park in a tight city street.
It's the main reason I went with the Shrockworks rear bumper without the swing arm.

If you live in the burbs, a rural area, or a city that was planned properly, it probably won't be as much of an issue, though.
 
Spotted a BLK TRD Pro yesterday. Gentleman driving was 30'ish clean cut looking with white office type shirt.
On Perkins road near So. Acadian thruway intersection...trying to make it thru the traffic light and being held up by an idiot blocking his lane :shrug:

Yep, that was me that went past you in the other lane!

Saw three flavors of white 5th Gens with black TRD wheels and KO2s on the same block of Colorado Blvd in Eagle Rock today.

Spotted a very clean white Trail ('14-16?) on Golden Triangle Blvd Saturday afternoon right by the RR tracks & 24 Hr Fitness... black wheels and blacked out valences. I was cruising windows down and gave you the big thumbs up (you waved back). Nice looking truck!

Haha, I've just been lazy but I finally got around to washing her today. When are we going wheeling again???
 
Silver Trail sighting...

...in my driveway!

I took my neighbor [MENTION=147239]Falcon70[/MENTION] wheeling two months ago. He drove my husband's LC and had a great time.

He got bit by the bug and finally found a 4R that was right for him. He didn't fall for my Land Cruiser nonsense and knew the 4R was a much more sensible idea. It looks---and drives!---like a brand new truck.

I am thrilled to have a partner-in-crime...he has some big plans for this truck.

Saw a Quicksand TRD heading east on the 202 exiting around Cooper. Had to do a littttttle bit of weaving to get to it, a couple of girls in the sweet rig!
