5th Gen Spotted Thread

Like what you want and those guys build their rigs considering a lot of factors and have done something quite amazing from there humble beginnings....pretty funny some of the comments you will hear on here but there is only one judge and jury

Where are you located in AZ? I just moved to Phoenix area... I admire your rig!

I'll say this, I like that hood scoop wrap (minus leaving the scoop itself unwrapped) and I'm totally gonna gank that and do that on mine.

haha sheeeit that was the first thing I thought when I saw that photo. I've only got the rear of the scoop wrapped currently.

I see this 5th Gen parking in the Fox Tower garage where I work in Downtown Portland. Nice ride with T4R.ORG sticker in the side window.

They found me!! I figured no parking meters today why not park on the street!!

Plus with the forecast of freezing rain the train might get shut down, I don't want to be stuck downtown!!

I live in the pearl, 4 wheel drive does not help when you're essentially driving on an ice skating rink.

Very true LawnDart. Max could get shut down later so I could end up sleeping on my desk in the Fox Tower...

I might head out just before the hell breaks loose.

If you can work from home, work from home. It's started to rain and it's going to get bad.

Two Houston 4Runners -

On TC Jester around 2:30pm today; a blue '12 (I think) Trail edition. Had sliders and looked like a 3" lift.

On 610 access road, then continued onto I-10 at 4:40pm; '15 mag gray Trail with sliders and otherwise stock.

No pics cause Houston traffic, duh.

Spotted this today at the Smart & Final on Burbank Blvd and Hollywood Way. Has aftermarket wheels, mild lift and nerf bar steps. Also looks like the upper halves of the tail lamps have been tinted. Quite a few mods done and doesn't even have license plates yet.

Nicely decked out older 5th gen at Home Depot in Dallas this morning - white limited/sr5 with front bumper, rear bumper (CBI), water & gas cans, rack & ladder, lifted, 33s...
Think I've seen this one before, just not with all of the recent additions.

Hey, that was me! I noticed you as well.... I was admiring your TRD wheels as I pulled out. It's been a slow build, but you're right - the CBI rear is relatively new. Here are some shots from our recent trip to Moab.

Good-looking rig and great pics!

I was in Moab back in August, but only hit Gemini Bridges - spent most of the week doing the Alpine Loop in CO.

Spotted a good looking SW 5th Gen in Torrance today. Blacked out, lifted, Gobi'd, gunmetal Level8 wheels. You looked over at me checking your your rig and was like, "why is this dude in a Volvo staring at my ride!?" Sorry, just miss being in a 5th gen and still gawk and stare! One day...I'll be back in a 'runner!

I had a 2013 FJTT in cement.
I thoroughly liked the color.
The cement color changed hue's in different light, which I thought looked good as well.
I know they are not for "everyone", but I think this color will sell!

First time I saw Cement on a Taco at the Atlanta Auto Show I knew that was the one I was going to get....up until a few weeks ago I thought I was going to end up with one. As soon as the '17 Runners came out though I knew I needed one of those instead. Now comes the waiting game until mine is built :/ lol

This gave me the warm and fuzzies to know I joined an awesome tight knit community when I got my 4runner last month. I had this silver trail covering my 6 at Dulles mall today (nice rig!).
