Yeah, I have found that at car meets, shows, and general get-togethers it is acceptable to gawk at other people's vehicles. However, in public "in general", it makes people a little nervous.

We both got ours ~ a week ago. Although we kind of cheated because he posted in the for sale thread on here and we went and met up. Aside from his, I have yet to see another one in person. The first time I saw it in person was at the dealership the day I bought it.

What dealership did you buy from? I placed my order from Toyota of Plano about 3 weeks ago and am dying. They had one there for me to look at that the owner was about to come pick up.

Yeah i was thinking no dont but curiosity got the better of me since i have a black TE as well and i want a similar setup to his. If he had bee. There then I coulda taken a closer look to see if he made any mods to fit the 285's

I live on the east side by 7th and Pleasant Valley. I've reached out to a few folks I see on here that are in the area, but I haven't met up with anyone. I'll probably see them out at the next Cars and Coffee. Would love to have a wrenching session for giggles sometime, especially when/if I ever lift mine. More than willing to help/learn with anyone in the area, though.

If you don't mind a bit of a drive, the San Antonio Cars and Coffee is tomorrow morning at the parking lot of Oak Hills Baptist Church on the NW side of San Antonio off of I-10. It will be the first one I have ever gone to.

Rago Fabrication is planning to be there. So, I want to go out and support them.
