Just picked it up Monday after selling my 2008 Taco. 2014 Metallic Grey 4Runner TE Premium. Loving it!

please do tell me how you like the 4runner? I am interested in getting a new taco but i have been debating the new 4runner.

I currently have both old ones but thinking of ONE new one from the above...ANy input is helpful! thank you

I don't have a build thread, as I don't have a whole lot of a build, nor do I really plan on anything wild. Im not particularly handy, nor do I have big plans for a suspension or the like. However, I would be more than happy to shoot some nice photos if anyone is interested, or answer any questions you might have!

I have never shot w/ a DSLR or edited before, so you guys were the first victims. No [MENTION=93894]J-BlickPhoto[/MENTION] but figured there were a good start.

These arnt up to my liking as the initial ones where, but as you asked, here a few more random pics













In regards to the "paint" its just plasti dip. It seems that a lot of theT4R guys seem pretty much relegated to black. There are a ton of great colors of Dip - I came from the Suburu scene, where the colors were a little more extravagant. However, you were correct that it was Metallic - dipyourcar.com has a million colors that you can order by can or gallon. All of my emblems and bumper inserts are True Metallics, Anthracite Grey.

How u liking the light brackets? Also if its not to much trouble could you post some pictures of how the brackets look under the hood and how it looks on the outside with the hood open. I'm looking to get some but not sure just yet since i am about to get a grill guard, just waiting for it to come in. thanks in advance.

Light brackets are well made, heavy duty, and no rattling. Brackets attach to the hood struts, by way of the preexisting hood strut bolts. No issues of note. Hood opens fully, with lights/brackets wired and installed without touching any other portion of the truck.

Went out to Colorado a couple weeks ago and had some fun on Medano Pass and some other trails. Lovin' my TE!

2014 Trail Premium

Been lusting after these things for over two years. I've needed a replacement for my '05 RAV4 and was testing Rubicons and LR4s... then learned about the elusive Trail Edition.

Finally found the exact one I wanted and snatched it up... 2014 super white Trail Premium with KDSS. I took it up to Alstrom Point overlooking Lake Powell in southern Utah the other day. Got to play around with Crawl Control and Multi Terrain a bit. Love love love this machine.

Redid my wind fairing for the Whitson Metalworks roof rack. Still trying to decide how I'm going to attach it logically rather than using zip ties. Lol

I would say try this half circle clamp and some kind of rubber to keep the screw from scratching.
