I never owned a TE wheel so never measured the backspace on one of them. As I mentioned several times before.....nobody has ever measured and then reported the backspace of a stock TE wheel in the last 4 years they have been out. Nobody!Come on people......it's not that hard, however it is a little more challenging with the tire on because you need a straight edge of 16"-17" because it has to be flat on the backside of the wheel and not include the tire bulge.I'm betting that it's 4.5" or maybe 4.75" since it's a 7.5 width.

TRD Forged Beadlock Style Wheels (17x7.5", ~27lbs) -- 4.5" bs
TRD Pro Wheels, both Black & Grey versions (17x7", ~25 lbs) -- 4.25" bs

255/75/R17 replacement tire size

Anyone running 255/75/17 tire size?
Looking at TOYO Open Country MT's 1/2" taller and .4" narrower than stock.

Greg - You're using RPM difference / original RPM to calculate speedometer difference, right? All of that looks good, but the only thing I'll caution for some people that might be a bit overly concerned about the speedometer reading is that 285/70/17 is spot-on for me, whereas 265s were reading low on my speedometer from the factory. I believe [MENTION=68685]Ducmonsta[/MENTION] has noticed the same thing, IIRC.

Just put 285's on and my speedometer is dead on at 80mph according to gps....bonus!

Guys... appreciate the searching that was done to find this construction thread lol but if you want to change or add something to the chart use the official Tire Fitment Guide thread. This one was used while I was initially getting the concept together.

This is a great chart as a general guideline. However, I recently had my local tire guy throw on some 275/55R20 Toyo's on my 2015 limited and noticed some fairly major rub before I drove it away (yes, I am aware of the 7" rim issue). I opted to have him put my old tires back on as I didn't want to cut up my wheel well/fender. I'm now looking at throwing on a Revtek 1.5" leveling kit, however, I'm still not fully confident that it will cure my rub problem. Has anybody else used the 1.5" front end level only for the same proble? If so, pics would greatly be appreciated!
