5th Gen toytec lift question

Every vehicle is a little different in terms of geometry.. Alignment can also play a role, but for a lot of owners on here, yes that is what they are doing to fit without rubbing with wider wheels, tires larger than stock or spacers. A lift can help if you are just driving on road all of the time but as soon as you get a decent flex in articulation and the wheel gets stuffed in the wheel well a vehicle will have the same issues as stock height without being trimmed.

That makes sense. Is it any better with a 0 offset rim, or an offset rim? And Im curious less for the looks, and more for the performance because i have a beach rig... That sand is deep- and wide tires seriously help when it comes to 'floating' on the sand

This is now where my knowledge is lacking and hopefully someone else will chime in. I think it does have to do a lot with the width of the wheel you are going for. Read the first post here and the articles that will hopefully help.
