they are BudBuilt stainless steel skid plates. They are slightly different from their standard skid plates and built for the tummy tuck.
I'm not sure, but should be far sooner than later. They should be posting a video soon about it.

Well then, this solves my pinched exhaust crossover. This seems like a better option than replacing with a new Y-Pipe.

I went out to Uwharrie today and rode all the trails and some a few times. as slow as tried to go going down some big ledges the 4R's big butt slammed down a few times. I guess this is what the back bumper is for.
Absolutely love the new tummy tuck. I was able to go over some rocks today i never would have tried a month ago and I do not think I ever dragged the skids. I did use my sliders which is great as that's what they are there for. the 4R was already very capable but now it's an entirely different beast.

This is an awesome mod. I might try this out on my bronco actually, the factory tcase crossmember on that thing is freaky low compared to the rest of the underside...

I have used BudBuilt T-Case X-Member, and their Skid plates, VERY Beefy in quality, and I used to offroad with Bud in New England before, and he is a fantastic person. I will use them every time I have a need for their products!!
This I'm not sure about, but is a good question. next time I speak to Bud I will inquire about it. This was done on my '19 not my '12. In fact we do not wheel the '12 very much at all which is certainly counterintuitive.
After my first real trip with it a few weeks ago at ATR, I can say it's great. Both mid and gas tank skids received light scraps while the trans skid which is much higher didn't have a mark. I'm a huge believer after using this and seeing the results afterwards.

Native to NC myself. Spent many summers on Lake Norman in Denver around Slanting Bridge.
I did a flat belly skid on my CJ7 long ago. I had to use an adapter when I changed transfer cases and I had a machine shop clock the mounting holes.
The adapter meant I needed a longer output shaft in the tranny. Looking at your pictures, it doesn't appear that was the case. So i'm assuming just a clocking ring that doesn't affect tranny to t/c connection? (Sorry, i'm newer to the 4R)

Very nice, I live extremely close to slanting bridge here in Denver, NC.
You have it correct, there is an adapter plate between transmission and transfer case and the drive shafts did not need to be changed as the length is the same, just a minor change to the angle.
