5th gen vs 3rd vs 4th wheel offset

I know the offset on the 4th gen rims is 1/2" different from 3rd gen because the axles stick out more in relation to the rest of the car. So if you put some 4th gen wheels on your 3rd gen you run the risk of rubbing the suspension and may need spacers. But what about 5th gens? Can 5th gen wheels go on 3rd gens no problem?

5gen wheels are fine, I'm running 15 SR5 wheels with no problems.

It's the tire width that really matters.
5th Gen wheels are the same offset as 3rd gens. 4th gens work as long as your tires aren't too wide. Here are some that I've run.
4th gen Sport wheels with stock 99 talls - 265/70R17
5th gen Trail wheels with TRD/8 wraps - 285/70R17
I run 1.5" spacers too but they weren't needed for the 4th gens. The tire was very close to the stock UCA though.
I never tried my 5th gens without spacers but with the All-Pro UCA's I'm sure they'd be fine.
