I sold it and some dude came over and picked it up. He looked at the, motor, paid me and I asked when he was going to pick it up. He said right now. I laughed and then dumped the engine in to his trunk.

Should have followed him home to retrieve it and re-sell it when it fell out.

I've done some dumb stuff like putting a 7M long block in the back of my Celica (backseat, trunk was full of subs) to bring it from NE to CA back in the day, but at least it was secure.

One of my buddies when to get a b18c in a 89 civic hatch. and just took the passenger seat out and put if there. I have myself put a D16y5 in the hatch of a 94 civic haha.

That's awesome! I like how the guy just said, "right now". Doesn't everybody put a 3.4 in the trunk of their Malibu? lol.

I got to ask what the heck is the "orange kiss of death" doing on that engine?

I would have still been in the driveway laughing today. 3 toned colored Malibu. Not surprising for eastern NC.

I once saw a guy with a rear axle and diff tied with bungee cords to the top of his Pontiac Grand Am and resting on the trunk on Highway 64 outside of Tarboro. Those was the days before cell phones with cameras.

The orange kiss came on the motor.

The most disturbing thing I have seen was some perv driving with his penis out. I was at a red light on 70 in Clayton and looked over to my right and saw some dude just holding it at its base.

At first, I thought it was fake but then it dawned on me that I had been visually violated.

I know. Scarred for life. That image has been etched into my permanent memory. I can't remember the car or the exact traffic light or even what time of year it was. But the image of Mr Pokey riding steering wheel can not be erased.

Only in eastern North Carolina.
