I bought my 4runner at the end of July 2013 with 205k miles on it. Its a 2000 5vz automatic SR5 4WD with RR-Diff Lock and factory leather seats.
Performance: Deckplate mod/ISR mod, B&M 70264 transmission cooler, Flowmaster muffler.
Body: Painted grille, Plasti dipped badges, painted bumpers/flares, painted license plate bezel, painted skid plates white, shaved mud flap mod, painted 3rd bl, Toyota emblem under headlight, Welding sticker, painted orange reflector/turn signal mod.
Interior: Little tree air freshener.
Suspension: Tacoma 5100's set at 2.5, OME 890 rear, homemade panhard bar drop bracket.
Brakes: Tundra 199mm brake upgrade.
Wheels/Tires: Plasti dipped stockers, Spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers and some 265/75/16 Hankook Dynapro ATM.
Armor: $100 Homemade tube/hybrid bumper.
Audio: JVC headunit.
Electrical: Scanguage 2, radar detector, DRL disable.
Lighting: Ice blue parking light bulbs, blue led light strip under bumper.
First mod was to remove the ugly running boards and take her to the beach!
Next I painted the grille black, the Toyota emblem white and plasti dipped the wheels and badges and re-painted the hitch and spoiler.
I had some extra fog lights laying around from when I sold my Tundra, so I threw those on there. Much better!
Next it was time for those ugly scratched to heck silver fender flares to go along with the chrome rear bumper. So I picked up some painters tape, rubbing alcohol, Duplicolor adhesion promoter, Krylon glossy black, 220 grit sandpaper, a can of primer and a Jegs magazine that came with my B&M 70264 and went to town sanding and painting. Turned out great I think for the price!
A lot more mods and pics to come!
