I bought my 4runner at the end of July 2013 with 205k miles on it. Its a 2000 5vz automatic SR5 4WD with RR-Diff Lock and factory leather seats.

Performance: Deckplate mod/ISR mod, B&M 70264 transmission cooler, Flowmaster muffler.

Body: Painted grille, Plasti dipped badges, painted bumpers/flares, painted license plate bezel, painted skid plates white, shaved mud flap mod, painted 3rd bl, Toyota emblem under headlight, Welding sticker, painted orange reflector/turn signal mod.

Interior: Little tree air freshener.

Suspension: Tacoma 5100's set at 2.5, OME 890 rear, homemade panhard bar drop bracket.

Brakes: Tundra 199mm brake upgrade.

Wheels/Tires: Plasti dipped stockers, Spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers and some 265/75/16 Hankook Dynapro ATM.

Armor: $100 Homemade tube/hybrid bumper.

Audio: JVC headunit.

Electrical: Scanguage 2, radar detector, DRL disable.

Lighting: Ice blue parking light bulbs, blue led light strip under bumper.

First mod was to remove the ugly running boards and take her to the beach!

Next I painted the grille black, the Toyota emblem white and plasti dipped the wheels and badges and re-painted the hitch and spoiler.

I had some extra fog lights laying around from when I sold my Tundra, so I threw those on there. Much better!

Next it was time for those ugly scratched to heck silver fender flares to go along with the chrome rear bumper. So I picked up some painters tape, rubbing alcohol, Duplicolor adhesion promoter, Krylon glossy black, 220 grit sandpaper, a can of primer and a Jegs magazine that came with my B&M 70264 and went to town sanding and painting. Turned out great I think for the price!

Painted license plate bezel black since it was a ugly faded charcoal color:

Awesome lookin' Runner! I'm going to guess you're either in Galveston or Corpus. My runner has the same white/black scheme going on so I'm interested in seeing what you've got in the works!

Thanks! I'm actually south of Houston lol.

I pulled the valve cover just because I was curious to see how it looked. Looks like the previous owners kept up with the oil changes! Not bad for 207k miles!

Painted the front bumper black, and skid plate white. Also painted the t-case skid white. Sorry the T4R is filthy.

Whoooo! Texas! Miss my home state, looking good. You got that hard charger attitude with your rig. Can't wait to see what it turns into.

That looks a lot like Surfside beach! What size piece did you use for the ISR and what made it so difficult?
Lol yep it was Brian beach. And its a piece for the diy intake kits from auto zone. It was difficult because it was a little to big. I had to heat up the rubber in boiling water just to slip it over.

Put a Toyota emblem under the headlight that I had laying around:

And installed some 7" led lights on the bumper, no longer wanted them on the bumper so I moved them under the rear bumper for backup lights and put the original lights back on:

Also installed some ice blue parking light bulbs and a blue led strip under the front bumper, but I haven't taken pics yet.

Got some free metal from work for the center piece/skid or whatever you would like to call it, free handed two holes with a torch and cleaned it up with a grinder and welded it on. Still have more trimming to do, weld on some side wings or whatever you want to call it, expanded metal (mesh) and a light hoop.

Went fishing and took a couple "poser" pics. Still a lot more work to do on the bumper, kind of "plan as I go" type thing. But I am liking it so far.
