7440/7443 bulbs

Are 7440 and 7443 bulbs interchangeable? The 7440 is a reverse light and 7443 is a brake light. I ordered led reverse lights from srq and they sent me 7443’s which don’t fit in the socket. Am I missing something or just being stupid?

I think the 7443 is a dual filament bulb, if memory serves so not compatible with each other.

7440 is single filament, 7443 is dual filament.

Okay, thanks guys. I had to send the srq guy pictures and a video before he stopped trying to convince me they were the right ones.

I bought 30w LED reverse lights a while ago and one of them is burned out. Time to reorder.
